INFO CAMPING

The campsite is located in a quiet relaxing environment by Ragnerudsjön and the nature reserve Kroppefjäll. With us, you get close to nature and separated from stress. All places have a view of the glittering Ragnerudsjön. The campsite is located 4km from the small community Högsäter which is located in the middle of southern Dalsland, 121km north of Gothenburg and 151km southwest of Karlstad.

Now the campsite has grown into a facility with 99 campsites, 15 cottages with a total of 64 beds, a restaurant with 90 seats inside and 30 on the outdoor terrace, lots of activities, a mini market, mini golf course, playground of 2000 sqm and all this with nature as the nearest neighbor.

The campsite has been around since 1984 and has since been a family business that is now in the 3rd generation. Iréne and Ulf Örtengren start the campsite together with Ulf´'s parents. The first sod was taken on the 7th of March 1983 and at the beginning there were only 10 places for a campsite and a small kiosk door for both check-in and ice cream sales.

The campsite is open during the summer months of April-September. In the spring and autumn we have a lot of groups and conferences with us with everything from dog clubs to weddings. The playground and bathing area are open to the public and a popular relaxing place for those who want to get away from stress either with a quiet everyday life or active days in nature.

Showercard

To reduce hot water consumption at the campsite, we have card readers on all our showers. To activate the hot water in the shower, you need a shower card that you can get at the. reception. You load this card with the desired amount depending on how many and how long showers you want to take.
