Relax in the nature that surrounds Ragnerud. Ragnerud Hiking Destination is located right next to Ragnerudsjön and Kroppefjälls Wilderness Area. A place where everything is there for you who want to experience what nature has to offer and at the same time live and eat well. You check in to your cabin from 14.00 and then choose whether you take a short hike or a paddling trip on the lake. Later in the evening you eat a three course dinnerwith recomended wine/beer of locally produced ingredients from Dalsland and western Sweden.
Wake up and start the day with our gourmet breakfast basket. You get your hiking lunch and the thermos filled to be able to explore Kroppefjäll. Choose for yourself how short or far you want to hike. There are circular loops on everything from 1-32km. We are happy to help you show on the hiking map where our favorite places on Kroppefjäll are. After your hike you can take a refreshing swim and enjoy in the sauna overlooking the lake.
Then end day two with a 3-course dinner from Ragnerud KÖK.
At the end of your stay, you may want to explore Lake Ragnerudsjön. Take a canoe or kayak and head out on the lake. Ragnerudsjön offers 11 km of kayaking, a beach, a barbecue area right by the lake and a small island you can go ashore for a coffee breake. You can of course take another trip on Kroppefjäll if desired. Check-out from the cottage is 11.00.

Hiking and canoeing weekend
You start at us from 14.00 on Friday. Check in to your cabin and then choose if you want to borrow a canoe or kayak and now head out on our lake Ragnerudsjön. If you need instructions on kayaking, get in touch at the time of booking. Head ashore or visit the small island in the lake and enjoy the tranquility of the lake. Start kayaking back to the beach at Ragnerud. Now you can choose to enjoy in our sauna down by the lake or cook the dinner that is in the fridge in the cottage. The next morning you have the breakfast ready in the fridge. Then you can choose to maybe try another type of paddling such as. SUP-board, take a hiking trip or relax on site. Find a cozy place or choose one of our recommendations and enjoy the packed lunch. At home in the area, the sauna and cottage or other desired activity then awaits. Cook your dinner in the cottage and then sleep well after a wonderful day in nature. Wake up with new energy and relax with nature and the lake as a neighbor.

An adventure on our adventure trail
Embark on an adventure with your children and take an extra look at nature.
You get a tray for NATURBINGO where you will find different things in nature. A marked round where you have to look for different things in different places. Viewpoint where you take out the binoculars and look for birds, cozy magic forest where small insects can hide and along the way find things that are hidden in nature.
You get a basket with binoculars and insect lice. To be able to take a closer look at what is in nature.

CANOEING for FAMILIES
An ADVENTURE on RAGNERUDSJÖN
Get out on Ragnerudsjön and its calm waters. Paddle or row is forward in a canoe or rowboat. You have the canoe / boat for 3 hours so you can make a stop on the way for lunch / coffee. Do you go all the way to the southern end and back you have a trip of 11km. Take a break either on the small island, Ragnerudsjöns Branter or Gålsjö.
