Here we offer three unique ways to enjoy food outdoors, perfect for both food lovers and nature enthusiasts.

First, we have our outdoor tasting menu, where you get the chance to enjoy carefully selected dishes in a scenic setting. Let the aromas and flavors from our menu seduce your senses while you sit surrounded by forest and water, a perfect combination of gourmet food and wild nature. This tasting menu will be able to be experienced on a few dates this autumn. Date coming soon.

We also offer a packed lunch that allows you to cook your own toasts over an open fire. With an included sandwich iron and ready-made toasts, you can create your own delicious sandwiches in the fresh air. It will be a fun and social activity that is perfect for the whole family or a group of friends.

Last but not least, take part in our weekend "Portion under the sky", where you will have the opportunity to learn how to cook outdoors with none other than Hanna from Portionen under tian. During this inspiring weekend, you will get practical tips and tricks for preparing delicious meals in nature, all under the open sky and with the beautiful nature as a background.

TOAST in the WILD

Our Open Fire Toast Lunch Package is a fantastic and interactive dining experience that combines the best of the outdoors with great food. Each package includes a sandwich iron and pre-made toasts, so you can easily make your own toast by the campfire.

Fill your sandwich iron with your ready-made toasts - and then let the open fire give them a wonderfully crispy surface. This activity invites you to socialize, where you can cook together with family and friends, while enjoying the fresh air and the sounds of nature.

Cooking over an open fire provides a unique flavor and atmosphere that enhances every meal. While the sandwiches are being grilled, you can sit back, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and perhaps share stories and laugh together. Our packed lunch is not just a meal; it is an experience that creates memories and strengthens the bonds between you and nature. Perfect for a day of adventure and relaxation!

You can choose between two different on-the-go toasts. One of the options is always vegetarian/vegan.

You can borrow a sandwich iron with you to prepare your delicious sandwiches

Firewood in the right size, knife, lighter steel (lighter in reserve)
- 1 x Hiking map

Hanna from PORTIONEN UNDER TIAN shares her knowledge of outdoor cooking
Welcome to an unforgettable experience at Ragnerud Hiking Destination! Join us for a weekend of outdoor cooking and hiking led by the passionate and knowledgeable Hanna, known from Portionen under tian and Linus who runs Ragnerud Hiking Destination. Here you get the chance to combine your love of nature with creative cooking in an inspiring environment.

During this weekend, we will cook together outside on two occasions. The first opportunity is during a fantastic hike in the magically beautiful and wild Kroppefjäll, where Hanna will share her best tips and tricks. The food we cook is in season and you can join regardless of your previous experience of outdoor cooking. The second time we grill sandwiches outdoors for breakfast, a dream start to the day!

This is a perfect opportunity to relax, socialize and enjoy the incredible nature while learning more about outdoor cooking in a fun and enjoyable way. After the weekend, you'll be in the mood to spend even more time out in nature!
